Race Description
The Big Hurt is an exciting multi-sport race scheduled for September 28, 2024, in Port Angeles, WA. Participants have the opportunity to challenge themselves either solo in the Iron Division or as part of a relay team, with all transitions taking place at a scenic waterfront location, fostering a vibrant all-day party atmosphere.
This year’s race will feature a diverse lineup of events including a 15-mile mountain bike leg, a 2.6-mile kayak course in Port Angeles Harbor, a 30-mile road bike leg through picturesque landscapes, and a 10K run along the stunning Olympic Discovery Trail.
