Race Description
The Beta Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing is set to host the "Healthcare Zombie Run" 5k on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. in Shreveport, Louisiana. This unique event aims to raise funds to support current and future healthcare students through scholarships and grants while providing a fun and engaging race experience.
Participants will navigate a course starting near Northwestern State University College of Nursing, facing the challenge of avoiding 'zombies' which are others trying to 'steal' flags worn by racers. Registration is currently open, with fees of $25 until October 18, and $30 on the race day. Race packets will be available for pick-up prior to the event or on the day of the race, and awards will be given to top finishers in various categories.
