Bernin' to the Beach (9th)

The 9th Annual Bernin' to the Beach bicycle event is set to take place on October 26, 2024, starting at 8:00 AM from New Bern, NC, with riders expected to take off at 8:30 AM. This popular event supports the Michael J. Fox Foundation in its efforts to find a cure for Parkinson's disease. Participants will engage in a 40-mile ride to Atlantic Beach, accompanied by a police escort for safety.

In addition to the race, participants can enjoy a Kick-Off Party on October 25, 2024, that features live music, swag bag and t-shirt pickup, as well as a meet and greet for riders and volunteers at The Flying Fox in downtown New Bern. After the ride, a lunch will be served at the Doubletree of Atlantic Beach, where riders can relax and socialize, with discounted rates available for those wishing to stay overnight.
