Race Description
The Beginner Sailing course will take place on September 28-29, 2024, at Fiddler's Cove Marina in San Diego, CA. This two-day adult class is designed for individuals aged 16 and older, with prior registration being required due to high demand. Classes will be conducted from 8 am to 4 pm, accommodating various military affiliations and ranks with fees adjusted accordingly.
Participants will receive comprehensive sailing instruction, boat rental, and textbooks as part of their registration. A valid California Boater Card or a completion certificate is mandatory prior to the first class session. Students per boat will be limited to enhance the learning experience, and those who complete the course will earn a Navy Sailing Qualification Card.
