Race Description
The Beer Mountain Challenge, held annually at Upward Brewing Company in Livingston Manor, NY, invites runners to tackle a thrilling trail run through the scenic Catskill Mountains. This year’s event, scheduled for June 7, 2025, features two distances: a 2-mile loop with 515 feet of elevation gain and a 4-mile option consisting of two loops with a total of 1,030 feet elevation gain.
Participants will enjoy a chip-timed race set in a picturesque setting, traversing a mix of foot trails, rocky carriage paths, and grassy fields. Each registrant will receive a race t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a complimentary craft beer token for Upward Brewing's taproom. Notably, no pets or strollers are allowed, and the race promotes a responsible atmosphere, prohibiting alcohol consumption during the event itself.
