Race Description
The Beaufort Lions Club will host its 6th Annual Beaufort Bridge Run 5K and 1+ Mile Dog Strut on November 2, 2024. This popular event takes participants on and over two new bridges in Beaufort, featuring both the high-rise Gallants Channel Bridge and the Turner Street Bridge. It's set to be a 'race destination' for runners of all levels, offering a picturesque view of the town and surrounding waterways.
Participants can look forward to awards in various categories, overall prizes, and the chance to enjoy a post-race celebration at the Backstreet Pub, where food and drinks will be served. The first 200 registered participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, while opportunities to support local charitable causes will be highlighted throughout the event. Registration is available online, and all participants are advised to register in advance as no on-the-day registration will be offered.
