Race Description
The second annual Be a SHEro 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on March 8, 2025, in Kokomo, Indiana. Organized by Club Kokomo Roadrunners and Palmer's Jewelry, this event is part of the Kokomo Women's Expo and celebrates International Women’s Day. It aims to promote healthy activity within the community while raising funds for local domestic violence shelters.
Participants can register for the event, which includes a challenging 5K run/walk as well as a new Little SHEro Sprint for children 10 and under. Registration fees vary depending on timing, with all proceeds benefiting the Family Service Association of Howard County Domestic Violence Shelter. The race will also include opportunities for awards and prizes, along with a post-event celebration with local vendors and entertainment.
