Race Description
The 48th Annual Bayou City Classic 10K and 5K Fun Run is set to take place on February 22, 2025, in downtown Houston, Texas. The event will start with the Hand-Cycle/Pushrim participants at 7:50 AM, followed by the 10K run/walk at 8:00 AM, and the 5K Fun Run/Walk at 8:20 AM. This event promotes inclusivity, encouraging participants of all abilities to join in the fun.
The Bayou City Classic, known for its festive atmosphere, features a post-race party with food and beverages, and a unique costume contest. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Houston Parks & Recreation Department, with significant contributions made over the years.
