Race Description
The 9th Annual Bay Bridge Paddle took place on September 25, 2022, showcasing a variety of paddlesports on the Chesapeake Bay. Participants could choose from divisions including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), surfskis, prone boards, and outrigger canoes, with three courses available to accommodate all skill levels: The Span (9 miles), The Steamer (3 miles), and The Soft Shell (1 mile).
After the paddling events, attendees enjoyed the Maryland Seafood Festival, featuring live music, delicious food, and various raffles benefiting the Foundation for Community Betterment. The event also honored top finishers with cash prizes totaling over $2,000 in the Span course, making it a celebratory conclusion to this community-focused event.
