Race Description
The 11th annual Batavia United Way Bat Race 5K & 10K is set to take place on October 26, 2024, starting at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of River and State Street in downtown Batavia. This annual event, which features chip-timed races along the picturesque Fox River Bike Path, is expected to attract runners and walkers of all levels from surrounding communities, celebrating a decade of involvement.
Participants can choose between a 5K, 10K, or Kids Fun Run, with awards for the top three male and female finishers in each race category. Additionally, a costume contest will add a festive touch to the Halloween-themed event. Attendees can also enjoy various refreshments for sale, further enhancing the community spirit and support for local charities the event benefits.
