Race Description
The upcoming Balloon Run is set to take place on Sunday morning, October 13, 2024, amidst the vibrant celebrations of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Participants will be treated to stunning views of hot air balloons soaring above the Rio Grande River and the Sandia Mountains while racing along the picturesque Bosque Rio Grande.
Racers can choose between a challenging 10-mile race or a more accessible 5K option, with every finisher receiving a commemorative t-shirt and an eye-catching balloon-shaped medal. Additionally, prizes will be awarded for the best costume and top finishers in each age group, adding to the festive atmosphere of this iconic New Mexico event.
