Race Description
The Badwater Cape Fear ultra running experience will be returning on March 22, 2025, to Bald Head Island, North Carolina. This unique race offers participants a choice between a 50km and a 51-mile race option, showcasing the natural beauty of the region with a scenic route that begins near the historic Old Baldy Lighthouse.
Participants will experience a twelve-mile warm-up on car-free roads and forest trails, followed by a challenging run along the stunning sandy beach of Bald Head Island. With breathtaking ocean views and the serene surroundings of the Cape Fear region, this event has already gained popularity as an annual activity for many runners and their families.
