Race Description
The Bacon Run is set to take place in Sarasota, Florida, on September 29, 2024. Participants can choose between a 5K and a 10K distance, both of which feature scenic courses around the area, including a run over a bridge and to Bird Key Park. Registration for the event is currently open, inviting athletes and running enthusiasts of all skill levels to join in on a fun experience.
Starting at 7:30 AM, the event will have a water station every 1.5 miles, with hats and visors provided to the first 200 participants. Unique to this race, bacon will be served at the finish line for runners to enjoy, alongside various awards for overall and age group placements.
