Race Description
The Back Your Badge Marathon is set to take place in Plainfield, Indiana, from September 21 to September 22, 2024. This annual race event, sponsored by the town to support public safety agencies, offers participants the chance to run distances of 5k, half-marathon, and full marathon. The course showcases some of Plainfield's most scenic locations, including the historic US 40 and the nearby parks trail system.
Participants are invited to support their chosen public safety agency by contributing to their total miles run, with the agency achieving the most miles earning a traveling trophy and bragging rights. All proceeds from the event will benefit public safety programs, local youth assistance initiatives, and a paramedic scholarship program. Registration is currently open for those wishing to partake in this community-oriented event.
