Race Description
The August Hill Wine Run 5k is set to take place on April 19, 2025, at 9:00 am in Utica, Illinois. This unique event combines the love of running and wine, allowing participants to enjoy scenic views while supporting a local charity. All entrants will receive a race t-shirt, a souvenir wine glass, a finisher wine medal, and a complimentary glass of wine or soda for those under 21.
Participants can look forward to a delightful experience not only with the race but also post-race snacks available at nearby establishments. The route, which starts and ends at August Hill Winery, follows a flat, fast course along the I&M Canal, making it ideal for runners and walkers alike. The race promotes inclusivity, welcoming participants of all ages and even pets, as long as dogs are kept on a leash.
