Race Description
The 10th Annual Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2024, at Westside Park in Atlanta, GA. This event serves as a significant fundraising effort for Atlanta Lab Rescue, which is dedicated to rescuing Labrador Retrievers and large breed mixes from shelters and abusive situations. With more than 6000 dogs having been rescued over the past 13 years, this race not only promotes fitness but also raises awareness for the welfare of these animals.
Participants in the Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K can expect a dog-friendly race that spans approximately 3.15 miles, with event timing provided by Elite Race Timing. Registration includes a long sleeve t-shirt and a race bib equipped with a timing chip for those in the timed start. Early packet pickup is set for November 8, 2024, at a location to be announced soon, providing runners an opportunity to prepare ahead of the event.
