Race Description
The Yooper Running Company is excited to host the 1st Annual Ashmun Street Mile on July 4, 2025. This one-mile event will start at the intersection of Ashmun Street and 14th Avenue at 7:00 PM, coinciding with the Sault Sainte Marie Independence Day Parade. Runners will have a unique opportunity to compete in front of an enthusiastic crowd along the parade route, making this experience both festive and exhilarating.
Participants can register for the event at varying prices, starting from $20 until December 31, increasing to $30 for registration close to the race day. All finishers will receive a medal and a coupon, with cash prizes available for top finishers in both male and female categories as well as for master categories. Participants are advised to finish within 25 minutes to avoid interference with the parade following the race.
