Race Description
The Arsenal 5k Run/Walk is set to take place on September 21, 2024, at the historic IPS Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. Organized by volunteers, this fun-filled event combines health, history, and community spirit, encouraging participation from individuals, families, and local clubs alike. Runners will tackle a mixed-terrain course featuring asphalt, concrete, brick, grass, and gravel, starting at 9:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Participation is open to all, and special scholarship opportunities are available for high school seniors who engage in the event through racing or volunteering. The Arsenal 5k has a long history of supporting education, having donated over $65,000 in scholarships since it began in 2000. Organizers are proud to have recently become a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, with continued support in helping local high school seniors and extracurricular clubs through the funds raised during the event.
