Race Description
The Arc of the Piedmont Santa Fun Run/Walk is set to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Charlottesville, VA. This event invites participants of all ages to don Santa suits and embark on a festive 1-mile run/walk, with registration opening at 8:30 a.m. and the run commencing at 10:00 a.m. Adults can register for $25, while children aged 3-12 will pay $15, and kids under 3 can join for free.
Proceeds from the event will support The Arc of the Piedmont's programs for individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Charlottesville area. Participants are encouraged to form teams to raise additional funds, with prizes awarded to the top corporate and family fundraisers. The fun-filled day promises snacks, a festive atmosphere, and community spirit, rain or shine, with a focus on raising awareness and support for a worthy cause.
