Andy's Race

Andy's Race, a significant triathlon event in South Carolina, is set to take place on August 3, 2025. This race is known for its welcoming environment that caters to athletes of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors. The event honors the memory of Andy Van Evera, a passionate triathlete who cherished this race, and aims to commemorate his spirit and dedication to the sport.

The triathlon will commence with a 400-meter swim in the Westside Aquatic Center, followed by a 15-mile bike ride through a combination of busy highways and serene country roads, culminating in a two-loop, 3-mile run. Athletes can also participate in Aquabike and Aquathlon formats, as well as a Duathlon option. This event marks a competitive yet enjoyable experience for all, while celebrating the camaraderie and community within triathlon racing.
