Race Description
The American Hero race, featuring distances of 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a half marathon, is set to take place on November 16, 2024, at Ben Geren Regional Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is open to all runners, regardless of club membership. Participants can register online through RunSignup and are encouraged to arrive early for packet pickup, which starts at 8:00 AM.
Racers can look forward to a scenic out-and-back course for all distances, with specific loops for each distance category. The event includes a best costume competition and themed finisher medals for all participants. Although costumes are encouraged, they are not required.
