The upcoming event 'Advancing Hope, One Brick at a Time!' aims to support educational initiatives in Malawi. Organized by UrbanPromise International, this fundraising campaign will focus on adopting classrooms for the new Lonjezo University project, scheduled to take place from June 25 to July 7, 2025. The initiative seeks to improve opportunities for under-resourced children and young adults.
As part of the mission, UrbanPromise International plans to graduate 8,000 students from their high schools in Malawi over the next decade. The organization faces the challenge of ensuring that graduates not only find higher education opportunities but also receive support to help them flourish in their communities. Participants and donors alike are encouraged to contribute to this vital cause, with all funds raised earmarked for classroom adoption and development at Lonjezo University.
