Race Description
The 8th Annual Birmingham, Alabama Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, in honor of Ostomy Awareness Day. The event aims to raise funds for the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA), with all proceeds going to support their charitable initiatives.
Participants are encouraged to register early to take advantage of a discounted rate. The event will feature a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile children's fun run, with prizes awarded to top finishers. Participants will get T-shirts and bibs included in their registration, which is set to be held at Avondale Park, a scenic venue in Birmingham, Alabama.
