Race Description
The 7th Annual Sam Liss Memorial 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on October 27, 2024, at Metuchen High School in Metuchen, New Jersey. This event, which supports the non-profit organization Breaking the Chain Through Education, aims to raise awareness and funds to combat child slavery in Ghana, West Africa.
Participants are encouraged to register before September 30, 2024, to guarantee their long-sleeved t-shirts. The race fee is $30 in advance and $40 on race day. This event honors the memory of Sam Liss, a founding member of the organization who passed away in 2017, and his legacy continues to inspire efforts in education and freedom for children.
