Race Description
The 7th Annual ELIH Foundation 5K Family Walk/Run is set to take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Orient Beach State Park in Orient, NY. This event aims to support the Eastern Long Island Hospital's Behavioral Health Services, which provide essential care to those in need in the community. The event encourages families to participate, with jogging strollers welcomed, and includes a special Kids 1/2 Mile Fun Run.
Participants can check in starting at 8:15 AM, with the 5K race beginning at 9 AM. Awards will be given to the top finishers in various age groups, including categories for both male and female competitors. Those registering by October 9 are guaranteed a T-shirt, and entry fees are set at $30 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-12. More details and registration can be found on the event's website.
