Race Description
The 6th annual SSADD 5k/10k walk or run is set to take place on October 20, 2024, at Sidney High School in Sidney, NY. This event is organized by Sidney Warriors and Sidney Students Against Destructive Decisions (SSADD) and aims to promote healthy activity while supporting local charities. Participants of the 10k will run the same course twice, while a 5k race will also be held.
Festivities will include awards based on age groups, food and beverages, and live music following the race. Additionally, there will be a half-mile color run starting at 2:30 PM. Performance T-Shirts will be available for purchase at $20, which will automatically register buyers for both runs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sidney Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and SSADD.
