Race Description
The 6th Annual Flag Run 5k is scheduled to take place on July 4th, 2025, in Boerne, Texas. This race encourages participants to run while carrying a full standard size American flag, with awards given to the top three runners who do so. Runners will enjoy fun amenities including t-shirts, finisher medals, food, drinks, and live music.
The event aims to support the Boerne Fire Department, with proceeds contributing to necessary equipment and scholarships for local students. Last year's race raised $10,000 for the department, and this tradition looks to continue with community support. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences on the Flag Run 5k Facebook page and utilize the hashtag #FlagRun5k to celebrate their involvement.
