Race Description
The 6th Annual Dozer's Run/Walk 5K is scheduled to take place on April 6, 2025, in Hockessin, Delaware. Organized by the Summers Charity Fund, this event aims to raise funds for canine cancer research following the loss of Dozer, the beloved pet of Roger and Stacie Summers, to cancer in 2019. Since its inception, the event has successfully contributed over $100,000 to this important cause.
Participants can look forward to an enjoyable morning of walking or running, all while supporting a meaningful cause. The event this year is also in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine, furthering its impact on canine cancer research. Please note that dogs cannot attend the race due to insurance requirements, but participants will receive a goodie bag to share with their furry friends.
