Race Description
The 5th Annual Hike2o Challenge is set to take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025. Hosted by the Florida Trail Association's Loxahatchee Chapter, this three-day backcountry event invites hikers to explore iconic South Florida ecosystems while raising funds for marine conservation and education outreach. Participants will trek approximately 30 miles, starting from both ocean and lake trailheads, to symbolize the interconnected waterways of Florida.
Registration for the event is currently closed, but interested parties can still support the cause through donations. Participants must be 18 years or older, and all hikers are required to attend a virtual orientation meeting prior to the event. With limited spots for thru-hikers, the event promises to be challenging but rewarding, with all proceeds supporting the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s mission and educational programs.
