5Katie

The third annual 5Katie is set to take place on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at the Meeks Mountain Trails in Hurricane, West Virginia. This unique event includes a 10K and 5K trail run, alongside a 2K untimed walk, aimed at raising awareness and support for pediatric cancer, in memory of Katie Cobb. All profits from the event will directly benefit children receiving care and treatment for cancer.

Participants can expect a challenging yet enjoyable course featuring single track trails across the beautiful Meeks Mountain. The event will also offer awards for top finishers in various age categories for the 5K and 10K races, while the 2K walk is designed to be non-competitive and accessible. Registration is currently open, with early registrants receiving a high-quality long-sleeved shirt if signed up by November 1, 2023.
