Race Description
The 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, one of the largest half marathons in the United States, celebrates its 49th running in 2025. With a rich history spanning over 20 years, this prestigious event encompasses over 20,000 runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair racers who will grace the streets of downtown Indianapolis in early May. The event is renowned for its energetic atmosphere, with each race wave led by an IndyCar, showcasing the city's passion for speed and sports.
Participants of the Mini-Marathon will also have the unique opportunity to run a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, symbolizing a tradition where many take a moment to kneel and kiss the iconic Yard of Bricks.
