Race Description
The 9th Annual 4Star 4Mile Race will take place in celebration of Veterans Day on Sunday, November 10th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Participants will gather at Dean Savage Memorial Park in Corktown, Detroit, to honor those who have dedicated their lives to protecting freedom. This unique event runs concurrently with the Veterans Day Parade, making it a significant occasion for runners and community members alike.
This event is designed to foster community spirit, allowing participants to run alongside veterans, including Medal of Honor recipients and World War II veterans. With family-friendly festivities, a parade, and awards for various categories, the 4Star 4Mile Race promises to be not just a race, but a heartfelt tribute to all who have served in the armed forces. Participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to show their pride.
