Race Description
The 42nd Annual Reeds Lake Resolution Run is a celebrated tradition that marks the end of the year with a community-focused race. Scheduled for December 31, 2024, this 4.0-mile run will take place around Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, drawing over 700 participants in its previous year. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan returns as the title sponsor for this event, ensuring a festive atmosphere as participants ring in the new year together.
Founded in 1982 by the late Joe O’Brien, this annual event has evolved while honoring its rich history. The race not only celebrates resolutions but also benefits the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation. This year saw enhancements such as die-cast medals and partnerships for post-race festivities. As the community gears up for another memorable race day, the focus remains on progress and celebration for all involved.
