Race Description
The 2nd Annual Sail to the Finish 2M Run is set to take place on May 3, 2025, in Middlebury, Connecticut. This event is organized to benefit the Quassapaug Sailing Center, promoting sailing instruction and fellowship among water sports enthusiasts. The race features an out-and-back road course starting at the sailing center, with the first mile being downhill and then returning uphill. Participants are encouraged to carpool due to limited parking, and entries may sell out quickly.
Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in various age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and up. This year, the event will celebrate Star Wars Day, with special surprises and awards for participants embodying the spirit of the Force. Registration for the event is currently closed, but interested individuals are advised to sign up early for next year's race.
