Race Description
The 2025 Wood Memorial Trout Run is set to return on April 26, 2025, in Kalkaska, MI. This annual event honors the memory of Chad Wood and his father Stafford, both of whom were passionate about running and community engagement. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Kalkaska High School Cross Country and Track and Field teams, furthering their mission to support youth athletics in the area.
Participants can pick up their race packets early on April 26th from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Middle School gym lobby. On race day, check-in will begin at 7:00 AM and close at 8:15 AM. The event welcomes furry companions, but participants must ensure they follow leash rules and clean up after their pets. More information can be found on the official event website.
