Race Description
The annual St. Jerome Picnic 5K in Fancy Farm, Kentucky, is set to take place on August 1, 2025. Commonly referred to as the 'Best Little Race Around', this challenging 5K features an out-and-back course that includes a long hill right after the turnaround point. Participants can expect a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of cheering supporters along the route and various water stations offering fresh fruit and cold sports drinks.
Registration for this year’s race is not currently open, and only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a t-shirt. It's important to note that Highway 339 north of Fancy Farm will be closed temporarily during the event, so alternate routes such as Highway 80 should be utilized. The registration desk will open at 5:30 PM on race day, where runners can collect their t-shirts and race bibs in a designated area for pre-registered and same-day registrants.
