Race Description
The 2025 Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival will host a 5k run and a non-competitive 5k walk on April 26, 2025. This year's event features flat and fast courses around the charming city of Shepherd, Michigan, as part of the annual celebration of maple syrup. The 5k race will be chip-timed, while a fun run for kids will also take place at 9 AM, starting just outside the track finish line.
This year, there will be no 10k race due to traffic issues and low participation in the previous year's event. Participants are encouraged to register by March 27, 2025, to guarantee race giveaways, including a breakfast ticket, race shirt, and commemorative glass. Packet pickup will be available at the Shepherd High School track complex on the Friday before the race, with exact times communicated via email to registrants.
