Race Description
The 2025 Lake Chabot Trail Challenge, featuring both a Half Marathon and a 5K, is set to take place on June 1, 2025. This event, celebrated for its scenic routes and community engagement, is anticipated by local trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts. Early arrivals are encouraged to ensure enough time for parking, registration pick-up, and pre-race preparations, as the challenges will commence with the Half Marathon starting at 8 am and the 5K following at 8:30 am.
Participants can look forward to a beautifully designed race course, with the Half Marathon featuring a hilly, scenic loop on dirt fire roads while the 5K route presents gentle rolling hills on paved surfaces. Pre-registered runners will receive a t-shirt if signed up by May 4, 2025, with prices set at $40 for the 5K and $60 for the Half Marathon. There will be awards for finishers and top age-group performers, promising a competitive yet enjoyable environment for all attendees.
