Race Description
The National Capital Bank Capitol Hill Classic is set to take place on May 18, 2025, marking its 44th anniversary as a premier athletic event in Washington, DC. This annual race features a 10K, a 3K, and a Fun Run, exclusively held on the scenic roads of Capitol Hill, with all proceeds benefiting the Capitol Hill Cluster School, which serves over 1,100 students.
Starting in front of Peabody Primary School, the 10K route offers runners a unique experience as they navigate through historic landmarks including Stanton Park, the US Capitol, and the Library of Congress, before concluding at Lincoln Park. The 3K course follows a more succinct path to Lincoln Park and back, while participants in the Fun Run will enjoy a friendly lap around Stanton Park.
