Race Description
The 2025 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Kids Marathon is set to take place on February 22, 2025, at Spain Park High School in Birmingham, AL. This unique event is designed as a five-month endurance building program for children from kindergarten through fifth grade, encouraging them to complete a total marathon distance in increments leading up to race day.
Registration for the event is currently open, with fees starting at $25 for early online sign-ups. Participants will have the opportunity to train by logging their miles leading up to the event, culminating in a final celebration where all children who complete their final mile will receive a finishers medal.
