Race Description
The 2025 Anchorage Mayor's Marathon and Half Marathon is set to take place from June 19 to June 21, 2025, marking the 51st anniversary of this cherished annual event. Each summer, this marathon attracts participants from all over the United States and the world, showcasing the natural beauty of Anchorage during the summer solstice with extended daylight hours.
Co-hosted by the University of Alaska-Anchorage and the Municipality of Anchorage, the marathon features a certified course recognized by USA Track and Field, making it a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Participants are encouraged to explore the many attractions in Anchorage, including outdoor adventures and local cuisine, promising an unforgettable experience beyond just the race.
