Race Description
The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point is set to host the 2024 UWSP Homecoming 5K Walk/Run on October 5, 2024. This scenic race will take place in the picturesque Schmeeckle Reserve located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, with options to run competitively or walk at a leisurely pace. The event's proceeds will support the Marquette Challenge, aimed at enhancing Physical Therapy research and advancing the capabilities of physical therapists nationwide.
Racers will gather at the Parkway Shelter to kickoff the event, with registration starting at 9:00 AM and the race commencing at 10:00 AM. Following the race, participants can enjoy local sponsor tables and Homecoming festivities, including cheering for the UWSP Football Team later that day. The event encourages community involvement while promoting health and wellness among students and alumni.
