Race Description
Join us on Thanksgiving Day at 8 AM for the 11th annual University City Turkey Trot in Charlotte, NC. This community race invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate in a 5k event followed by a delightful post-race mini feast with food, drinks, games, and music.
The Turkey Trot features not only a 5k run/walk but also a fun run for kids and a costume contest. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to support the local food drive, with proceeds benefiting patients affected by Sickle Cell Disease. Registrants are reminded to sign up early to secure their complimentary turkey tee shirt.
