Race Description
The 2024 Turkey Trot Trail 5k & 10k is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, at Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary in Gainesville, Florida. This annual event is presented by Lloyd Clarke Sports and aims to combine fitness with community support, as part of the registration fees will aid in the rebuilding efforts following a recent electrical fire that damaged the local store.
Participants can look forward to a scenic 3.1-mile course that winds through fields and forests, offering the chance to run alongside rescued farm animals. Registration is now open, with day-of registration available until 8:15 AM for $50, excluding a T-shirt. This event not only promotes physical activity but also supports the mission of Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary, focusing on compassion for farm animals.
