The 2024 TKF At Your Pace Kidney Race is set to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 9 AM in Nashville, TN. This annual event supports the Tennessee Kidney Foundation and aims to raise awareness about kidney health, particularly for those affected by kidney disease. Participants can enjoy a one-mile walk on a paved, handicap-accessible pathway, alongside various fun activities designed for all ages.
The TKF Kidney Race encourages community involvement by welcoming kidney patients, their families, living donors, and transplant recipients, with over 500 participants expected. Registrations include a walk t-shirt, and all funds raised assist with essential services such as transportation to dialysis, emergency assistance for unforeseen expenses, and provision of kidney-friendly meals.
