Race Description
The Chris Klug Foundation is set to host the 2024 Summit for Life, inviting participants to join in celebrating the 19th Annual "Kickoff to Winter" in Aspen, Colorado. This nighttime uphill race challenges participants to ascend 3,267 vertical feet to the summit of Aspen Mountain, all in the name of raising awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Scheduled for December 7, 2024, the event draws over 400 racers each year who aim to raise a minimum of $100 for the foundation while climbing the scenic mountain path. Participants can choose to hike, skin, or snowshoe their way to the top, culminating in a festive post-race celebration featuring dining, live music, and awards for the top fundraisers and finishers.
