Race Description
On December 7, 2024, Midland will host the Nighttime Jingle Bell Run, promising a festive evening of athleticism under the stars. This year's event, organized by the Midland Athletic Company in collaboration with Junior Achievement of the Permian Basin, is set to be the largest and most vibrant 5k race in the area, featuring an enchanting route decorated with Christmas lights.
Participants can choose between two distances: a 5k and a 1.5k, both starting from Scharbauer Elementary School. Runners will enjoy personalized race bibs, finisher medals, and other perks thanks to generous local sponsors. The event welcomes all, including those with strollers and leashed dogs, embodying a spirit of community and cheer during the holiday season.
