Race Description
The 2024 NCS Take the Hill 5K and Kids Fun Run is set to take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at North Cross School in Roanoke, Virginia. The event will kick off with a Kids' Fun Run at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K run at 9 AM and a 5K walk at 9:15 AM, inviting runners and walkers of all ages to participate in this annual race.
Participants can expect a challenging course known as the Ridgeline Course, alongside activities for kids such as face painting and bounce houses. Registration is currently open and is required by August 28 to guarantee a race shirt and bib. The event is described as more than just a race, aiming to provide a festive atmosphere for the community with opportunities for activities and fundraising for the North Cross School Parents’ Association.
