Race Description
The annual 5-mile Market Street 'Run for Blue' is set to take place on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, starting at 8 a.m. This event invites participants to run or walk in support of the Philadelphia Police Department. Registration is currently open, with early bird pricing starting at $35 until race day, which includes a long-sleeve running shirt.
The race will commence at Front and Dock Streets, next to the Philadelphia Marriott Old City, and will conclude with a street festival at 2nd and Market. In addition to the race, there will be police displays, coffee and pastries from Wawa, and live music, promising a festive atmosphere for all involved. The event aims to raise funds for the Philadelphia Police Foundation while also fostering community relations between the police and the public.
