Race Description
On October 5, 2024, the Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, California will host the Lace'n It Up 5K Fun Run and 1 Mile Celebration Walk, an event organized by Links for Life to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, the event is expected to be the largest yet, featuring special survivor recognition, local vendors, food and drink, music, and raffle prizes.
All net proceeds from the event will directly fund local programs and services aimed at raising breast cancer awareness, providing diagnostic services, and supporting survivors. Links for Life also offers various resources throughout Kern County to educate the community on breast health and assist survivors in navigating their cancer journey.
